King College is Presbyterian comprehensive college offering more than 80 majors, minors, and concentrations; student teacher ratio of 14:1.

History: Founded in 1867 by Holston Presbytery; named in honor of Rev. James King.

Faculty: Nearly 80 percent hold doctorates from major learning centers around the world.

Enrollment: 2,127 students from 32 states and 28 countries (2011-2012 academic year).

Technology: Most advanced campus-wide computer network of any college in the region; each new student receives a personal laptop computer; full internet access in all campus buildings - including residence hall rooms - and wi-fi.

Location: Bristol, Tennessee, the twin city of Bristol, Virginia. One community in two states: Bristol, Virginia on the north side of State Street, and Bristol, Tennessee, on the south side, nestled in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains.

Campus: 135 wooded acres and Georgian-style architecture buildings provide a quiet, beautiful learning environment that's just two minutes from bustling downtown Bristol.

Financial aid: More than $35 million awarded annually in scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study; 99 percent of students receive assistance.

Travel Abroad: More than 25% of our traditional students travel each year for study abroad, mission, class, and community service trips.

Graduate Success: During the past three years, an average of 80 percent of King graduates seeking employment were employed within their major field six months after graduation. Overall, 40 percent of our graduates pursue graduate school, one percent go to law school, and two percent go to medical school. More than 80 percent of King graduates are accepted into their first-choice graduate or professional school.

Integrated and innovative first year program: The Quest incorporates a trip to Washington, D.C., for all first year students.

Awards and Designations: For the past 19 consecutive years, U.S. News & World Report has ranked King as one of the best colleges in the nation - and, King has been listed in the "Great Colleges, Great Prices" category, recognizing that a King College education is not only high quality, it's a great value as well.

King College has recently been included in The Princeton Review's The Best Southeastern Colleges, which showcases the top schools in nine southeastern states. King College is one of the 136 schools receiving the Best in the Southeast designation.  

King has recently been added as a College of Distinction.
